What immediately strikes you about The Base D at Schiphol is the open and slender style of the building. The extensive use of steel and glass also gives it an ultra-modern look.

Aldowa made sure that the ‘balconies’ of this building enhance the open character by providing them with floor gratings, which don’t require any auxiliary construction.

The consoles of the ‘balconies’ are made of aluminium and mounted on the curtain wall posts.

You will find this new and innovative building in the Schiphol Central Business District (Centre). It is currently the office of Heineken International.
