Paulina

The energy-neutral Paulina office building was part of the final phase of the expansion of Honderdland in Maasdijk. On behalf of Van Mierlo Bouw & Ontwikkeling, we fitted this multi-tenant office building with lightweight aluminium façade bands. We were involved in this project at an early stage, working closely with Moen & Van Oosten Architects to work out the details for this energy-neutral office building. This resulted in an aesthetically pleasing yet also manufacturable concept.

For this project, we used aluminium honeycomb, which is a lightweight and durable material. We made 1 metre high panels with an impressive length of 5.5 metres. The façade bands run across both the outer and inner façade, creating a nice unity. A strong overall look that also offers a very sleek appearance. In addition to the façade bands, we also supplied and installed the walkways and ceiling grilles, fall protection and the roof cowls/flashings.
