21 April was an important day for Aldowa. The Rotterdam-based facade-maker hosted the annual general meeting of Anders Invest. In its completely new office and production location, Aldowa welcomed around 100 investors and guests of Anders Invest.
Annual event
Anders Invest invests for the long term in Dutch companies in industry, (healthcare) real estate and food & agri. The focus is on mutual interests and a valuable relationship. Since 2018 Anders Invest has a 65% stake in Aldowa and they are connected. Every year Anders Invest organises an Annual General Meeting for all its investors. During this meeting the annual reports per expertise (industry, (healthcare) real estate, food & agri) are presented. To create even more involvement with the investors, it was chosen to organise this day at one of the companies in the portfolio. Last 21 April Aldowa had the honour to organise the General Members Meeting of Anders Invest from A to Z. It was a great honour for Aldowa and a great opportunity for the investors. A great honour for Aldowa and an assignment which they, fully in line with the working method of Aldowa, organised and executed with the entire team.
A tour behind the scene
Apart from the various annual meetings of the various funds, the programme also included an enthusiastic speaker, Norbert Schotte. In an interesting lecture, he shared his vision of the building task, hybrid and timber construction, and sustainable and industrial building. During the event, ample time was also taken for a guided tour of Aldowa.
The timing of the event could not have been better: last month, the Aldowa team inaugurated its brand new office and production location. During the tour, visitors were given a glimpse of the various disciplines of Aldowa: sales, engineering, production and assembly. Since the move to the new location, all activities are under one roof. During one of the ‘pit stops’ in the tour, Alwin Versluis and Marc Krauth, Aldowa management, also gave a presentation on Aldowa’s unique philosophy. This day, all investors got a perfect insight into how Aldowa follows its passion: realising dreams that may be seen!
