Traverse Mediapark

Surrounded by a visual impression of radio waves, cyclists and pedestrians shuttle back and forth between the Media Park, Hilversum Noord railway station and the adjacent residential area. This crossing, which users have dubbed the ‘Kijkbuis’, refers to the adjacent Media Park in an appealing way.

Aldowa produced the circular and perforated aluminium panels for this traverse. The pattern of the radio waves is applied by means of perforations and round ‘nubs’. This gives each panel a unique pattern.
