How do you transform a commercial high-rise into a comfortable residential tower with a warm atmosphere?
Delft Hoog demonstrates how this is possible. Until 2020, it was the Torenhove office building, the first high-rise office building in the Netherlands. Now it is an apartment complex where starters and families can find a bright, contemporary home with phenomenal views of Delft.
The new facade of Aldowa largely contributes to the personal atmosphere that fits with a residential function.
Hanging from ropes, ATI Abseiltechnieken Montage’s sky technicians safely installed the prefab elements in chameleon colour with glass up to a height of 95 metres.
Aldowa also fitted all the suspended parapets with balustrades.
