The Noordgebouw in Utrecht is a lively building where living, working, shopping and staying overnight come together.

The colour of the warm red aluminium facade panels, which were realised by Aldowa, enhances this liveliness. The panels are powder coated in a Corten look, a colour developed in consultation with the architect.

Apart from the colour, the spherical pattern in the panels is also special. The panels, some of which are up to 2000 mm wide, have both incident and protruding spheres.

Aldowa has not only realised the facade panels for this building, but also the facade bands, ceilings and canopies.
