NEXT Delft

In the new NEXT Delft, tech talent can meet and scale-ups can find office space, trial new technologies and develop prototypes. Aldowa engineered, produced and supplied the aluminium panels for NEXT.

The building consists of 33 unique façade sections, with a total of some 1,200 façade elements in two different colours. 480 panels are characterised by an unusual perforated triangular shape with diagonal lines, and the panels also have different types of perforations. Such complex execution is at the edge of what is technically possible and therefore demands the utmost from our people and machines. As well as finishing the parapet, the panels also serve as sunshades. Aesthetics and functionality therefore go hand in hand very subtly here, giving a stunning result.
