We are proud to announce that Aldowa has been selected to realise the façade cladding for De Sax, the new landmark on the Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam.

Commissioned by BAM Bouw en Techniek, we are collaborating on this architecturally iconic residential tower, designed by MVRDV.
The commission follows an intensive preliminary process led by BAM Bouw en Techniek – Projects and builds on a collaboration that has already proven itself in projects such as Rijnstraat VROM and the Zalmhaven. Always with the same driving forces: innovation, craftsmanship and quality.

What makes this project extra special? Our shared love for Rotterdam. As immediate neighbours in the Spaanse Polder, we are working from the heart of the city on the further transformation of the skyline. As a local partner, we are proud to contribute to this iconic project by developers BPD | Bouwfonds Gebiedsontwikkeling and Synchroon.

Our contribution to De Sax:

▪️ The iconic golden “Sax” element
▪️ The parking world
