In the main auditorium of the new theatre ‘Kunstenpand’, visitors are embraced by playful red walls.

The walls have geometric shapes and a warm appearance at the same time. They provide perfect acoustics no matter where you are in the room.

Aldowa produced prefabricated elements for these walls. These are constructed from assembled prefabricated frames with 6mm thick aluminium composite panels.

The entire hall was simulated in the computer, whereby the shape and angle of the panels were determined with optimal acoustics as a starting point. This means that each panel is unique.
